Evan is the founder of Drive By Golf and currently serves as the Director of Instruction at The Hack Shack, a premier golf facility in Midtown Manhattan. Since 2017, he’s been helping New Yorkers improve their game one swing at a time. Before that, he honed his craft for five years under the South Florida sun as a Master Instructor at the world-renowned Jim McLean Golf School at Doral Resort—home of the PGA Tour’s WGC Championship and consistently ranked one of the top golf schools in the world by Golf Digest.

With over 1,500 lessons taught per year, Evan brings a deep passion for teaching players of all skill levels—from total beginners to celebrities and touring professionals. His client list includes names like Nina Agdal, Roger Mason Jr., and Donald Faison.

He’s been featured on Revolution Golf, appeared as a guest expert on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, and has built a global following of over 80,000 golf fans on Instagram at @evancathergolf.
